The
Super Singles Event is open to all dogs, purebred or
mixed breeds.

Junior
competitors and veteran dogs (8 years & up) are
encouraged to run (see
placements, payout & recognition).

Junior
competitors must be capable of keeping the dog under
control on the line without the aid of an adult.

Bitches in
season will not be eligible to run and will not be
allowed on the grounds.
-
The Super
Singles Event will have an unlimited number of
entries.
-
Competitors
must pre-register each dog.
-
No refunds
after closing date (except for bitches in season /
illness with letter from vet).
-
Closing date
will be 2 weeks prior to the event - June 18, 2010.

Entry Fee -
$20 per dog. Each dog will only be allowed to run in
one stake.
-
The stake a
dog will be competing in will be determined by the
dog's time after the first run has been
completed.

Sign
in at 9:00 am EST. Handlers' meeting will be held at
10:00 am EST. Running will start immediately following
the handlers' meeting.
All handlers must sign in, pick up running numbers, and sign a liability
waiver prior
to the start of the event.

All
Handlers are encouraged to attend the Handlers'
meeting; rules will be reviewed and questions answered
prior to the start of the first run.

Bumpers
will be used in all stakes.
-
Dogs may not
be sent until the Official says GO; any dog
sent prior to that time is disqualified and entry fees
are forfeited.
-
The fall area
will be mark by a circle; any bumper landing out of
the fall area will be considered out of bounds by the
Official and the dog will not be released.
Dogs will not be sent back in line but will
stay at the line for the next bumper thrown.

A Start/Finish
line will be marked on the ground and there will be
markers at the outside perimeters.
Dogs MUST leave and RETURN across the
Start/Finish line.
Timing does not start or stop until the dog
crosses the Start/Finish line.

All stakes
will run the same setups consisting of multiple
singles - distances and challenges to be determined.

The stake in
which each dog will be assigned will be determined by
running times after the first run has been completed
by all dogs entered. Once
the running order is established it will be strictly
adhered to; any dog not on line at the designated run
time will be disqualified and all monies forfeited

All
dogs will compete in the first two rounds. Lowest
time will be used as qualifying time.
Half of the dogs in each stake with the lowest
times will continue to the 3rd round.
After the 3rd round, the 5 dogs with
the lowest times in each stake will proceed to the 4th
round.
After 4th round the 3 lowest times
in each stake will determine the winners of each
stake.

BUY-IN
After
the completion of the 2nd round and the
qualifying dogs have been determined, the dogs not
qualifying will have the option to pay another $20 fee
to buy back into the 3rd round.
These dogs will run a separate round consisting
of 1 single per dog. The 2 dogs with the lowest times
in each stake will continue to the 4th
round.
All regular rules apply will apply.

Handlers are
encouraged to bring their dogs to the line on lead.
Dog may run with a flat collar or without any
collar. A slip cord may be used at the line. Dogs may
not run with chain or prong collars.
No training aids will be permitted on the
grounds.

Dogs do not
have to be steady or deliver to hand. Once a dog
crosses the start line timing will begin.
THERE WILL BE NO FALSE STARTS.

Dog and bumper
must both cross the finish line.
A dog that crosses the finish line without the
bumper will be disqualified.
-
Dogs must be under
control after returning across the finish line.
Any dog that is out of control and crosses back
over the finish line setting the timer off will be
disqualified.

Competitors
may NOT at anytime time reach across the line to release the dog or to
receive a bumper. Such action will be deemed a fault
and the dog will be disqualified.

NO HANDLING.
No dog can be handled to a bumper.
Handlers that attempt to handle a dog will be
asked to pick up the dog and the dog will be
disqualified; however, encouraging your dog to return
in an expedited manner is acceptable.

Dogs that have
excessively long hunts or hunts that are determined
completely out of the fall area by the Official will
be disqualified and the handler will be asked to pick
the dog up.

In the case of
a tie, dogs will each complete single runs until a
lowest time determines the winner.

Any
disqualification of a dog will be understood as a
forfeiture of all entry monies and running fees.
